1865年 乙丑 1 岁 1 月27日（农历正月初一）
生于浙江省金华县城西之
铁头岭。祖籍安徽省歙县
潭渡村。
1869年 己巳 5 岁 延师启蒙。从一倪姓老画
师得“当如作字法，笔笔
宜分明”画诀，铭记不忘。
1879年 己卯 15岁 考取金华丽正、长山两书
院值课。
1880年 庚辰 16岁 仿荆浩《笔法记》体例，
作《笔法散记》一卷。
1881年 辛巳 17岁 从陈春帆学写真。
1884年 甲申 20岁 赴扬州、南京，遍访藏家。
是年，谒访怀宁老画师郑
珊（雪湖），请授画法。
郑云惟有六字诀：实处易，
虚处难。
1886年 丙戌 22岁 返歙应院试。补廪贡生。
问业于西溪汪仲伊，兼习
琴剑。
1887年 丁亥 23岁 赴扬州，就两淮盐运使署
录事。从郑珊、陈若木
（崇光）学画山水花鸟。
1895年 乙未 31岁 就康有为、梁启超发动
“公车上书”，致函直抒
己见。是年，与谭嗣同会
于安徽贵池。
1898年 戊戌 34岁 戊戌变法失败，六君子殉
难。先生闻之大恸，遂写
诗悼谭嗣同。
1906年 丙午 42岁 与许承尧等秘密组织“黄
社”。
1907年 丁未 43岁 “黄社”事发，出走上海。
与章炳麟（太炎）订交。
1908年 戊申 44岁 与黄、邓共同编辑《国粹
学报》、《国学丛书》、
《神州国光集》等报刊杂
志。
1911年 辛亥 47岁 与邓实合编《美术丛书》。
1912年 壬子 48岁 与宣哲（古愚）创贞社。
任《神州日报》编辑。主
编《神州大观》月刊。为
高剑父、奇峰昆仲创办的
《真相画报》撰文、插图。
1918年 戊午 54岁 应有正书局之邀，为之编
审《中国名画集》。
1921年 辛酉 57岁 陈叔通举荐先生任上海商
务印书馆美术部主任。
1926年 丙寅 62岁 任神州国光社编辑，主编
《神州大观》。上海艺观
学会正式成立。主编《艺
观》杂志。
1928年 戊辰 64岁 应广西教育厅之邀，讲学
桂林。游漓江、罗浮、武
夷。与俞剑华、张大千诸
君组织“烂漫社”，被推
为社长。与胡朴安、丁福
保诸君始创中国学会。
1929年 己巳 65岁 创办文艺学院，被推为院
长。兼任上海新华艺专、
昌明艺专教授。
1930年 庚午 66岁 出展比利时国际博览会，
得珍品·特品奖。
1931年 辛未 67岁 中国画会成立，当选监事。
1932年 壬申 68岁 入川讲学。
1935年 乙亥 71岁 任故宫文物鉴定委员。
《黄宾虹画册》印行。
1937年 丁丑 73岁 赴北平审定故宫南迁书画。
平津沦陷敌手，南归无计，
乃搜罗古玩书画，闭门谢
客，著述绘画。
1943年 癸未 79岁 校方日人为其举行八秩寿
诞庆祝会，不赴。傅雷等
发起在上海举办“黄宾虹
先生八秩书画展”，并印
行《黄宾虹山水画册》及
画展特刊。
1948年 戊子 84岁 春，受杭州国立艺术专科
学校之聘，遂南返。
1949年 己丑 85岁 任中华全国美术工作者协
会委员、全国第一届美术
展览会审查委员。
1951年 辛卯 87岁 列席中国人民政治协商会
议第一届全国委员会第三
次会议。
1953年 癸巳 89岁 华东行政委员会文化局授
予“中国人民优秀画家”
荣誉奖状。当选中国美术
家协会理事。被聘为中央
美术学院民族美术研究所
所长，因病未能成行。
1954年 甲午 90岁 任华东美术家协会副主席。
“黄宾虹先生作品观摩会”
在沪举办。《黄宾虹山水》
出版。
1955年 乙未 91岁 当选为中国人民政治协商
会议第二届全国委员会委
员。3月25日逝世。
1865 1 years old; born at Tietoulin in
the west of Jinhua city in Zhejiang
province on January 27.
1869 6 years old;enlightened by a palace
teacher；A Mr Ni，an old painter，
told him a knack："Every stroke
should be clear in painting and
calligraphy." He remembered the
knack all his life．
1879 16 years old；was accepted as a
teacher at the two academies of
classical learning in Lizheng and
Changshan of Jinhua．
1880 17 years old；imitated Jinghao's
style in "Calligraphy Notes" and
wrote one volume of "Calligraphy
Random Notes"．
1881 18 years old；learned to draw a
portrait from Chen Chunfan．
1884 21 years old;visited collectors in
Yangzhou and Nanjing;in the year，
he paid a formal visit to the old
painter in Huaining，Zhengshan
（Xuehu），and asked him to teach
how to paint．Zheng Yunwei had a
knack ：It is easy in the solid，
but difficult in the empty．
1886 23 years old；returned to She county
to sit for the exam of the academy．
learned from Wang Zhongyi in Xixi，
practicing musical instrument and
sword at the same time．
1887 24 years old；learned to paint land-
scape and flower-bird pictures from
Zhengshan and Chen Ruomu（Chongguan）．
1895 32 years old；Kang Youwei and Liang
Qichao submitted a written statement
to the government ；Huang Binhong
wrote a formal letter,expressing his
own view．In the same year，he met
TanShitong at Guichi of Anhui．
1898 35 years old；The reform movement of
1898 failed,and the six participants
were killed.On hearing the news，he
was very sad and wrote a poem to
mourn for the dead．
1906 43 years old；secretly organized
Huang Society with Xu Chenrao．
1907 44 years old；went to Shanghai after
something went wrong with Huang
Society.
1908 45 years old；edited newspapers and
magazines such as " Paper on the
Quintessence of Chinese Culture"，
"Classical Learning Series"，etc
together with Huangjie and Dengshi.
1911 48 years old；edited " Fine Arts
Series" together with Dengshi．
1912 49 years old；established " Zhen
Society"with Xuanzhe（Guyu）.He was
an editor of "the Divine Land Daily"
and editor-in-chief of the monthly
magazine" The Great View of the
Divine Land".He contributed articles
and illustrations to "The Truth
Pictorial"created by Gao Jianfu and
Qifeng Kunzhong．
1918 55 years old；invited by Youzheng
publishing house,he read and edited
"Chinese Famous Painting Collection"．
1921 58 years old；Chen Shutong
recommended him to be director of
the fine arts section of Shanghai
Commercial Press．
1926 63 years old；was an editor of
Shenzhou Guoguang Press，editor-in-
chief of "The Great View of the
Divine Land"．Shanghai Art Society
was set up ，he became editor-in-
chief of the magazine "Arts"．
1928 65 years old；invited by Guangxi
education ministry，he went to
lecture in Guiling；in his spare
time，he traveled the Li River，
Luofu ，and Wuyi．Together with Yu
Jiehua and Zhang Daqian，he
established "Romance Society" and
was elected director．He created
Chinese Learning Association with
Hu Puan and Ding Fubao．
1929 66 years old；created Arts College
and was elected president；
concurrently held the post of
professor at Shanghai Xinhua Art
College and Changming Art College．
1930 67 years old；took part in the
international fair in Belgium，and
won the prizes of rare piece and
special piece．
1931 68 years old；Chinese Painting
Association was established，he was
elected director．
1932 69 years old；went to lecture in
Sichuan．
1935 72 years old；The capital court
appointed him as a member of antique
appraisal committee at the Imperial
Palace．Huang Binhong Painting Album
was issued．
1937 74 years old； invited by Beiping
Antique Display Institute， he went
to Beiping to examine and approve
the painting and calligraphy works
of the Imperial Palace which had
once been moved to the south．In
July ，Beiping and Tianjin were
occupied by the enemy． It was
impossible to return to the south，
so he collected antiques and works
of painting and calligrphy，declined
visits and wrote books on painting．
1943 80 years old；refused to appear at
the birthday celebration party held
for him by the Japanese at the
college．Fulei，Qiu Zhuchang，and
Gufei held "Huang Binhong's Painting
and calligraphy Exhibition " in
Shanghai； printed Huang Binhong
Landscape Album and special issue
of the exhibition．
1948 85 years old;in the spring,appointed
by Hangzhou National Art College，
he went back to the south．
1949 86 years old;a member of the Chinese
Fine Arts Workers Association and an
inspector of the First National Fine
Arts Exhibition．
1951 88 years old；went to Beijing to
attend the Chinese People's
Political Consultative Conference．
1953 90 years old；On his ninetieth
birthday celebration, the cultural
bureau of East China administrative
committee awarded him the prize of
" the excellent painter of the
Chinese people"；in April，he was
elected director of the Chinese
Artists Association；in November，
he was appointed as director of the
national fine arts research institute
of Central Fine Arts College，but he
did not go because of his illness．
1954 91 years old；went to Shanghai to
attend the inaugural meeting of East
China Artists Association，and was
elected vice chairman；attended the
opening ceremony of the exhibition of
Huang Binhong's works and took part
in discussion． " Huang Binhong's
Landscape"was published by Shanghai
People's Fine Arts Press．
1955 93 years old；was elected a member
of the second national committee of
the Chinese People's Political
Consultative Conference; died on
